I am a part time student studying Computer Systems Engineering at the University of Auckland and am in my second year. In this degree, we study about how electronic circuits function and how to program computers at the level close to the hardware.
I have a passion for technology, problem solving and design, which lead me to take Computer Systems at university and is why I learn web development in my time outside university. I am currently enrolled in Enspiral Dev Academy in their web developer bootcamp for 15 weeks.
When I design something, it must be something I can be proud of. I believe that even the little details shouldn't be ignored. When this comes to web development, I ensure my websites are responsive and attractive with fast loading times to give the best user experience. When it comes to programming in general, I ensure my code is readable, reusable and DRY.
Throughout my journey in Enspiral Dev Academy's web developer bootcamp, I make blog posts about my experiences and learnings. The foundations section of the curiculum has a total of 5 weeks worth of learning, where I make around 2 blog posts per sprint or week. Each sprint there are two sections, one is cultural and the other is technical. The cultural blog posts are about the social and human side of my journey to become a web developer. The technical side contains new programming knowledge I reflect on.
