Abilities:
Q: laser gun
Hold down Q for a continuous fire laser with a base fire rate of 10 shots per second. Hitting an enemy with this ability heals you at higher levels.
W: homing bombs
Press W to fire up to 10 homing smart bombs with targeting system that ensures unique target selection per bomb. 10 Second Cooldown
E: rapid fire mode
Press E to increase the attackspeed of your twin lasers and deal 2x damage to bosses. 20 Second Cooldown
R: sword and shield
Press R to gain a shield that absorbs all incoming damage for 10 seconds. (20 Second Cooldown) Press R while the shield is active to fire a wide laser that deals damage that scales with the damage the shield absorbs. (1 minute cooldown)
Movement:
Hold down Arrow Keys to move.
Rounds
Each round you will face a wave of enemies that shoot at you. When you kill all the enemies in the wave, another wave will spawn. Every 3 rounds, you will face a boss that you must kill. The higher the round, the more difficult the enemies. There are an infinite number of rounds in this game, so you can play until you die.
Health
For each small enemy you kill you gain 0.2 health and for each boss kill you gain 5 health. Your maximum health starts off at 20 and increases by 1 at the start of each boss round. When hit by an enemy projectile, your health will decrease until it reaches 0,then it's game over.
Score
Killing a small unit grants 100 points and killing a boss grants 1000 points. The points you earn are multiplied by your score multiplier, which can be increased by killing small enemies and bosses. Small kills increase your score multiplier by 1 and boss kills increase it by the round number squared. When you get hit by a projectile, your score multiplier is quartered until it reaches 0.
Powerups
After killing a small enemy there is a chance that it will spawn a red colored powerup that will float towards the bottom of the screen. Flying into the powerup with your ship will unlock new abilities that you can use and also level up already existing abilities.
Artillery
Every 5 seconds, artillery will target your ship's general location and being inside the explosion radius will damage your ship.First, a red crosshair with a border will appear on the screen that you will have 1 second to avoid. If any part of your plane's full hitbox is inside the red square it will guarantee a hit.
Your Hitbox
Enemy projectiles will damage your ship when they hit the main fuselage and will not damage it when inside the wings. However, enemy artillery will damage yourship in all locations.
